The Chiefs’ lack of depth up front was a key reason that Kansas City lost Super Bowl LV against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, since Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith joined the Chiefs, the interior of Kansas City’s offensive line has been one of the team’s biggest strengths.
Thuney filled in at left tackle during the playoffs and was replaced by Mike Caliendo, who performed admirably while he manned the veteran’s usual spot at left guard.
Expect Thuney, Humphrey, and Smith to be top performers against the Eagles.
