T-Pain has become the latest artist to sell his music catalog to HarbourView Equity.
The deal was announced on Feb. 20, with HarbourView Founder and CEO Sherrese Clarke offering high praise for the musician.

What We Know About the Deal
“We are excited to welcome T-Pain, a true trailblazer in the music industry, to the HarbourView family,” she said, Variety reported. “His visionary artistry and innovative spirit have left an indelible mark on modern music, and we can’t wait to collaborate and amplify his incredible legacy even further.”
It has not been disclosed how much T-Pain, who is estimated to have a net worth of around $10 million, was paid.
Joining his peers such as Nelly, Jeremih, and Wiz Khalifa, T-Pain’s music is part of a growing collection of artists under HarbourView Equity.
“I’m excited for this next chapter and to partner with HarbourView Equity as they help preserve the legacy of my music,” said T-Pain, according to Variety. “This catalog represents years of hard work, creativity, and unforgettable moments, and I’m grateful to see it continue to reach new heights. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.”
The songs in the catalog deal include hits like “Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin’),” “Bartender (feat. Akon),” “I’m N Luv (Wit a Stripper) (feat. Mike Jones),” Flo Rida’s “Low,” and “I’m Sprung.”
As Finurah previously reported, T-Pain disclosed that he had to relinquish some of his publishing rights to clear the samples, which include lines from “Money in the Bank” by Lil Scrappy, “Snap Your Fingers, Do Your Step” by Lil Jon, E-40, and Sean Paul, as well as “Walk It Out” by DJ Unk.
As Finurah previously reported, Nelly sold a 50 percent ownership stake in his music catalog to HarbourView Equity Partners for $50 million, valuing his entire catalog at $100 million.
Wiz Khalifa sold part of his catalog to HarbourView in December 2024 for an undisclosed amount, a collection that includes hits “See You Again,” “Black & Yellow,” and “The Thrill.”
T-Pain, a six-time Grammy winner, has sold more than 50 million singles and his songs have been streamed billions of times, securing 15 Billboard Hot 100-charting singles. Billboard also stated that T-Pain has had three No. 1 charting songs in his 20 years of mainstream success.
The singer has been mostly active on social media, streaming on Twitch and being the head of his Nappy Boy Entertainment, Nappy Boy Automotive, Nappy Boy Gaming, and Nappy Boy Dranks.
