Bostonians will get to treat themselves to award-winning barbecue after playing pickleball when a new spot opens in the city for the first time.
Pig Beach, the famous New York City and Palm Beach, Florida, barbecue restaurant, will open its first Massachusetts location later this month.
The barbecue joint will be located inside PKL — South Boston’s indoor pickleball club and bar — at 64 C St.
Similar to the City of Champions, Pig Beach has racked up many titles since the company’s inception in 2015.
The chain has placed first several times at the May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest in Memphis, Tennessee, won the Corona “People‘s Choice“ Award for brisket tacos in 2021 and won a ”People‘s Choice Award” at New York City Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash in 2019.
Pig Beach also has an award-winning line of sauces and rubs as well as the Pig Beach BBQ Cookbook.
The Boston location will also be the first Pig Beach to offer brunch on the weekend starting at 11 a.m. Menu items include Pig Beach eggs Benedict, Chicken & Waffles and the brisket egg and cheese sandwich.
