Ben Simmons, the former Brooklyn Nets point guard, is putting his stunning five-bedroom condo on the market for nearly $17 million following his recent move to the Los Angeles Clippers. The 28-year-old Australian-born athlete is parting with the luxury property located in the Olympia Dumbo tower, a 33-story, ultra-exclusive building beside the Brooklyn Bridge.

Inside the Luxury Brooklyn Home
Purchased for $14 million in 2023, Simmons combined two units to create a larger 5,261-square-foot residence on the 21st floor. The condo features numerous high-end amenities, including a state-of-the-art home theater with daybeds long enough for Simmons’ 6’10” frame, a dedicated shoe closet, and a custom dressing room, The New York Post reported. An entertainment room, complete with a pool table, further elevates the condo’s appeal.
The home also features five bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, an open chef’s kitchen, a wet bar, and heated floors. There’s also a walk-in closet and private gym. The true highlight, however, is the 332-square-foot wraparound terrace offering breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty.
The condo is part of the newly built Olympia Dumbo tower, which has already attracted several celebrities, including tennis star Naomi Osaka and actor Michael B. Jordan. The building features a range of luxury amenities, including a private tennis court, a bowling alley, a boxing gym, a pet spa, and a juice bar.
Simmons’ decision to sell comes after his buyout agreement with the Brooklyn Nets, ending a challenging stint with the team. Despite being acquired in 2022 as a key piece to complement Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Simmons struggled with recurring injuries and has so far been unable to meet the high expectations set for him.
