Bill Belichick Catches Girlfriend Jordon Hudson as a Mermaid on the Beach for Halloween

Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson went all out for Halloween!

Hudson, 24, posted snaps of their costumes via Instagram Thursday, Oct. 31, that showed Belichick, 72, dressed as a fisherman in a wide-brim fishing hat, heavy-duty raincoat, jeans and boots. The former New England Patriots head coach also held a fishing rod.

Hudson, for her part, wore scaled bottoms mimicking a mermaid fin, and jewels around her neck for a top. She appeared to be laughing as Belichick smiled for the camera.

“Ouucchhhh!!! 🪝,” she captioned her set of photos.

This marks Hudson’s second Halloween costume this year, her first was a fun nod to the eight-time Super Bowl champion.

Over the weekend, she and a group of friends dressed up in costumes as they celebrated a friend’s engagement at Walt Disney World, according to TMZ. For the occasion, Hudson wore a New York Giants T-shirt cropped around her waist, paired with Belichick’s signature short-shorts. Belichick coached the team from 1979 to 1990.

In June, PEOPLE confirmed that the two had been dating for more than a year after they were seen together on several occasions. The romance comes after Belichick and his former girlfriend Linda Holliday split after 16 years together in September 2023.

“Jordon is bright and ambitious and pretty well organized,” one source previously told PEOPLE. “It’s easy to see that Bill could become infatuated with her. She is young and attractive and interesting. I don’t know what she wants from him but they seem to be enjoying each other and like doing many of the same things.”

A separate source added, “If I had the options with attractive young women that Bill has, who knows what would happen. All I can say is we like Linda and thought they were a great couple. They were good together.”

Belichick and the Patriots “mutually parted ways” in January after 24 seasons and six Super Bowl wins. At the time, the team was struggling to win games, and Belichick was visibly frustrated in media interviews.

An insider told PEOPLE in September that Belichick was busy and “all about football” amid his relationship with Hudson. “He doesn’t want a lot of public attention on this. He has a lot on his plate, a good family, and he meets people all of the time.”
