The Chargers are bringing back a familiar face, signing wide receiver Mike Williams.
It is a one-year deal worth $6 million for Williams.
Los Angeles released Williams last offseason to clear up cap space. He went on to sign with the Jets, appearing in nine games and finishing with 12 catches for 166 yards. Williams was traded to the Steelers midway through the 2024 season, and played nine games and posted nine receptions for 132 yards and a TD.
Selected No. 7 overall in the 2017 NFL draft, Williams had 309 receptions for 4,806 yards and 31 touchdowns across seven seasons with the Bolts.
With Williams back in the fold, he will give the offense a much-needed perimeter receiver who can win in the intermediate to deep parts of the field.
