Bengaluru, December 18, 2025: DriveU, India’s largest on-demand driver service platform, has announced the launch of ‘PawRide’, a new service designed specifically for pet parents travelling with their pets. The service went live on December 16 and will initially be available in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
The new feature is built to offer a safe, comfortable, and stress-free travel experience for both pets and their owners. The service caters to a wide range of use cases—from trips to the veterinarian and groomer to everyday outings and recreational drives—ensuring that pet parents no longer have to compromise on convenience or care. Whether travelling with a dog or a cat, the service ensures a smooth journey while maintaining the comfort and cleanliness of the vehicle.

To ensure a positive experience, all driver-partners offering PawRide are pet-friendly and specially trained to understand the needs of four-legged passengers. Customers can easily book a pet-friendly ride via the DriveU app by selecting the pet option after requesting a driver.
The launch of PawRide comes at a time when demand for pet-friendly transportation options is steadily growing across Indian cities. With this feature, DriveU aims to set a new benchmark for reliable and inclusive mobility for pet owners.
As part of the PawRide launch, DriveU has also partnered with local animal welfare organisations, including Remy’s Organization for Animal Rehabilitation (ROAR)—a Bengaluru-based NGO dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of paraplegic dogs. The company recently announced a donation to ROAR to support its ongoing efforts in providing medical care, rehabilitation, and shelter to rescued dogs.
