It’s been the most wonderful time of the year for more than one reason for Dua Lipa, as she’s reportedly engaged to boyfriend Callum Turner.
The Houdini hitmaker, 29, and Fantastic Beasts actor, 34, made their relationship Instagram official in July this year after they were spotted out in London together in March.
However, Dua and Callum were first romantically linked in January, and it’s believed that Callum has now popped the question after a year of dating.
According to reports, the showbiz couple are ‘so in love’ and are certain they will be together ‘forever’.
A source told The Sun: ‘They are engaged and couldn’t be happier.
‘Dua has had one of the best years of her career professionally, and this is the cherry on the cake.
‘Callum is such a solid support for Dua, and they make a wonderful couple.’
It’s said their family and friends are ‘so happy’ to hear the sound of wedding bells.
The insider added: ‘It’s been an amazing Christmas for them.’
Pop star Dua and The Capture star Callum are thought to already have huge celebrations planned after agreeing to marry.
Dua is set to host a starry New Year’s Eve party in the capital, with the likes of Harry Styles and Emma Watson on the guest list.
According to sources, the bash will be ‘the most talked-about NYE party of this year.’
‘They’ve found an amazing venue in London and are working with some party planners to get the ball rolling,’ added a mole.
‘Invites have gone out to all of their celebrity mates.’
With whispers that Bella Hadid has also received an invite, the lavish party is ‘the talk of the town’.
‘The guest list is apparently a who’s who of the celebrity world.’
While neither Dua nor Callum has commented on their rumoured engagement yet, the Levitating songstress wears a dazzling ring in her latest Insta pic.
Her caption read: ‘home for the holidays ❣️ sending you all so much love’, as she posted a slew of snaps from her festive break after a busy period with her Radical Optimism Tour.
Dua’s new sparkling accessory didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who were quick to point out in the comments that she was sporting some new jewellery on her left hand.
The Dance The Night hitmaker and Masters of the Air star were initially pretty low-key with their sizzling romance, but now regularly offer a glimpse inside their love bubble via social media.
Before dating Dua, Callum was in a relationship with Vanessa Kirby, while Dua’s exes include Anwar Hadid and Romain Gavras.
Speaking previously about dating as a celeb, Dua told Rolling Stone: ‘Dating, I think overall, is just a little confusing.
‘It’s either through friends of friends or people you trust where you can meet new people, because [dating] is not really so straightforward when you are, I guess, a public person.’
Then, speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, she reflected on her past relationships: ‘I think I’ve had relationships which have been really hurtful, especially earlier on, where I feel like I’ve been made to feel like not good enough or have made me lose my confidence and I’ve had to find that again.
‘You learn about your own non-negotiables. I think that’s an important thing. It’s of course the right person, but it’s really about the right relationship.’
