The Jets and Giants stink this year. And their fans aren’t taking in the aroma.
Via John Ourand of Puck, the Jets’ local viewership is down 29 percent over last year. For the Giants, the drop is 30 percent.
The Jets are averaging 578,000 homes in the local market. The Giants are at 523,000 homes.
Neither team has won a Sunday game all year long at MetLife Stadium. And the Giants, in their 100th season, have a franchise record 10-game losing streak.
It’s getting harder and harder to imagine the Giants not making massive changes after the season. With the Jets doing a full reset, how can the Giants compete by staying the course?
Regardless, both teams are having rough years. For the Jets, it’s become an annual thing. And the Giants, despite having four Super Bowl trophies, aren’t much better.
