Indivisible has come to the rescue, reminding Senators that they could be actually doing something about all of this. The new document describes How Senate Democrats Can Shut Down Trump’s Agenda with Procedural Hardball.
These are the things you should be demanding that your senators do:
(1) Vote ‘no’ on every nominee, and be loud about why they’re voting that way.
(2) Use quorum calls to bring floor business to a standstill.
(3) Object to “unanimous consent” every time, which forces roll call votes, debates, and other delays on all sorts of procedures. These delays stack up.
Our Democratic senators can stop this nightmare from proceeding. Tell them they need to wield the power of no.
