The New York Jets invited linebacker Giovanni Williams, the brother of current Jets defenders Quinnen and Quincy Williams, to their rookie minicamp.
Unlike his brothers, Giovanni Williams went undrafted, meaning he has an uphill battle to make the team. But if he did, it would be historical, as three brothers have never played on the same NFL team before.
Williams spent four years playing college football at the Division II level and he won a conference championship (SIAC) in 2024. As for what Williams brings onto the field, he calls himself a “hybrid” of both of his older brothers.
“Honestly, I’m in the middle… I got Quincy’s speed, but I got Quinnen’s build,” he said to reporters at minicamp. “Everybody compares me as the hybrid of both.”
Head coach Aaron Glenn is happy to oversee the brotherhood in the Jets locker room.
“I just think it’s outstanding that he has a Jets jersey on and both of his brothers [Quinnen and Quincy] are actually here with us,” he said. “It’s a beautiful story… he’s working his butt off.”
