Jimmy John’s has taken a whole new approach to the “gluten-free” craze, releasing a new carb-free sandwich with a pickle-y twist.
A press release announcement revealed that the sandwich giant has launched its new Picklewich. This invention offers all the characteristics of a traditional Jimmy John’s sandwich, but with a twist: Instead of bread, a huge kosher dill pickle provides a juicy, crunchy, and filling experience.
Known for its trademark Jimmy Pickles and incomparable sandwiches, Jimmy John’s combined these beloved items into one ultimate mashup that will be served at participating locations across the country from Monday, Oct. 28 to Thursday, Nov. 14.
The restaurant is reintroducing the beloved Pickle Jimmy Chips to go with the Picklewich. Made with thickly sliced potatoes, real salt, and 100% peanut oil, original Jimmy Chips are given the salty, sour, dilly, and wonderful flavor of pickles.

Jimmy John’s Previously Introduced the Mediterranean Menu
The sandwich giant has never been afraid to experiment with new flavors. Over the summer, it announced a new Mediterranean menu featuring flavors inspired by Greece and Italy.
The Mediterranean Veggie Wrap and the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap, which both come with Sabra Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, are two previously unreleased wraps in the collection. Pita Jimmy Chips and Sabra Roasted Red Pepper Hummus were served alongside Jimmy John’s very first pita chip.
“At Jimmy John’s, we want our guests to experience the flavors of the Mediterranean without having to pack their bags,” said Kate Carpenter, vice president of marketing, in a statement accompanying the announcement. “Our new Mediterranean Wraps do just that — they capture the vibrant and refreshing flavors of the warm weather months, helping our guests savor every last bite of summer.”
