Who is Paul Ingrassia, the White House Liaison for the U.S. Department of Justice sworn in on January 20?
Like so many presidential appointees, Paul Ingrassia is a partisan sycophant. “HERE’S TO 2025: THE YEAR OF DELIVERANCE AND THE START OF AMERICA’S GOLDEN AGE,” Ingrassia wrote in a December 31, 2024 post featuring a photo of himself with President-elect Donald Trump.
But Donald Trump isn’t the only public figure Paul Ingrassia adores. In a July 5, 2023 post (archived here), Ingrassia wrote:
Andrew Tate is an extraordinary human being – not only in terms of sheer physical prowess, though he is that in spades, but perhaps even more impressively, he is sharp as a tack and has the willpower and spirit to match.
He is the embodiment of the ancient ideal of excellence: to seek perfection of mind, body, and spirit – an ideal that is radically at odds with our grotesquely decadent society, which values security and mediocrity over human excellence among men.
Ingrassia’s treacly tribute to Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, who are abusive pornographers and alleged human traffickers, concluded:
The Tate brothers provide an opportunity for a better future – one that inspires, rather than degrades, men: and one that can offer a dying West some hope for renewal, if only we reject the Matrix’s lies and heed their call to strive for greatness.
Before being appointed White House Liaison for the Justice Department, Ingrassia worked for one of Andrew Tate’s lawyers, New York-based Joseph McBride (archived here).
“Andrew Tate is a real dissident of authoritarianism. So too is Donald Trump,” Ingrassia wrote on April 3, 2023 (archived here).
“Andrew and Tristan Tate are being maliciously targeted by the Matrix and deep state for the crime of exposing their lies and unapologetically standing up for traditional masculinity and Western values,” Ingrassia wrote in a June 20, 2023 post (archived here) insisting that “Congress and the United States Government” should “take action immediately to right this grave miscarriage of justice.”
“What makes the Tates stand out is their unflagging persistence to uphold truth in the face of the systems designed to keep the global masses enslaved,” Ingrassia asserted.
Two days later, Ingrassia posted a photo of himself meeting Donald Trump at Trump’s Bedminster, New Jersey golf course. The day after that, Ingrassia posted (archived here) a photo of a handwritten note from Trump complimenting Ingrassia as “young and handsome.”
McBride and Ingrassia orchestrated Tate’s June 2023 interview with Tucker Carlson (archived here):
Ingrassia reiterated this in a separate July 11, 2023 post, archived here.
On July 1, 2023, Ingrassia posted a photo of another handwritten note from Trump, this time praising Ingrassia as “the man behind the great writings.”
“Received this fantastic letter from #47 as soon as I stepped foot back in the good ol’ USA from Romania,” Ingrassia wrote (archived here).
A week after Carlson’s interview with Andrew and Tristan Tate aired, Ingrassia and McBride published a lengthy exposition on their trip to Romania to facilitate it (archived here).
“The [Tate] Brothers’ one and only real crime is this: a message of self-discipline and ability to think freely,” Ingrassia wrote (archived here) in a summary of the piece.
On July 28, 2023 (archived here), Ingrassia shared an online petition demanding the Tate brothers be released from Romanian custody. Last month when Andrew Tate asked whether he should run for Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Ingrassia replied (archived here), “Absolutely!”
Formerly a contributor to populist gutter blog Gateway Pundit and advisor to the populist New York Young Republican Club, Ingrassia was a Claremont Institute Publius Fellow in 2020 and a Claremont Institute John Marshall Fellow in 2022.
Ingrassia’s MAGA stock skyrocketed after he published a birther smear against Nikki Haley on January 1, 2024. Ingrassia thanked Donald Trump (archived here) for sharing a Gateway Pundit story promoting his deranged ramblings a week later.
“Nikki Haley, born Nimarata Randhawa, to ‘Ajit and Raj Randhawa,’ two non-citizens, allegedly in Bamberg, South Carolina, in 1972, is not eligible to serve as either President or Vice President because she’s not a natural-born citizen under either Art. II, Sec. 1 of the Constitution or even the citizenship clause of the Fourteenth Amendment,” Ingrassia wrote in a 1/18/2024 post (archived here).
“We don’t even know whether Haley’s parents were here lawfully or not. If they were here illegally, that would make Haley an anchor baby, which is strictly barred by both the letter and spirit of the Presidential Eligibility Clause,” Ingrassia added.
In a reply to Haley the following day, Ingrassia called Haley “an insufferable bitch” (archived here):
“Nimarata, you are not a natural born citizen,” Ingrassia wrote a few hours later (archived here). “You are unlawfully running for President of the United States, in violation of both Article II and the 14th Amendment.”
“You were the anchor baby of two foreigners,” Ingrassia commented on another Haley post that afternoon (archived here):
“It’s rich that we allow ourselves to get lectured by a person called ‘Nimarata Randhawa’ about American values,” Ingrassia wrote in reply to a 10/7/2023 post from Haley (archived here):
“Our society made it far too easy for someone like Nimrata ‘Nikki’ Haley, who doesn’t know a thing about our constitution, values, and history, to ascend to the highest levels of power,” Ingrassia wrote on 11/19/2023 (archived here). “‘Nikki Haley’ is not American in any fundamental sense of the term. It’s a sad truth but oftentimes even second or third generation immigrants fail to assimilate into our culture. Some people never do. Nikki Haley is one of them.”
“Ben Shapiro and Nikki Haley are not American,” Ingrassia wrote in an 11/16/2023 post (archived here):
On April 28, 2023, Ingrassia published a Substack post (archived here) titled “Free Nick Fuentes,” praising the Holocaust-denying white supremacist as a “conservative commentator” and imploring Elon Musk to restore his Twitter account.
“The era of ‘conservative gatekeeping’ must come to an end,” Ingrassia wrote in a May 7, 2023 summary (archived here) of his appeal to Musk. “We NEED to shift the Overton Window – time is running out!”
Last June, Ingrassia decried Turning Point USA’s “awful decision” (archived here) to kick Fuentes and fellow antisemite Jake Shields out of a conference, calling Fuentes and Shields “dissident voices.”
Ingrassia has contended (archived here) that millions of American citizens should be deported based on the immigration status of their ancestors:
Simple as U.S. Department of Justice White House Liaison Paul Ingrassia’s hatred of Nikki Haley is, his feelings toward Vladimir Putin are… complicated. Ingrassia hailed Putin as “the most powerful leader in the international arena standing up for traditional Christianity and Western values” in a 4/9/2023 post (archived here):
Responding to critics the next day, Ingrassia reaffirmed his belief (archived here) that Putin was better at “upholding traditional Western values” than President Joe Biden.
“Even if [Putin]’s insincere about it (which is highly doubtful), it’s still far more preferable to the globohomo agenda promoted by the Biden regime,” Ingrassia wrote (archived here).
“No serious individual would ever claim that Putin today espouses an ideology or political program even remotely comparable to that of mid century Soviet communism. Modern Russia is well over a quarter century removed from its Soviet’s past, and Putin’s remarks are emphatically and recognizably Western in the traditional and Christian sense,” Ingrassia added (archived here).
“Putin’s not guilty by association simply for having been born in Soviet Russia. By the same token, no serious person ever accused Benedict XVI of being a ‘Nazi’ simply for being conscripted in Hitler’s Youth Group — Putin’s worldview today is as distant from anything resembling Soviet-era communism as Benedict’s Catholicism resembled Nazism. You’re not making serious arguments here,” Ingrassia continued (archived here).
“Your head is so clearly stuck in the twentieth century, and you seem hopelessly incapable of adapting to the unique needs of our own times, which unquestionably would be far better served in abandoning our woefully outdated, hostile position towards Russia,” Ingrassia continued (archived here).
After doubling, tripling, quadrupling, and quintupling down on his Putin apologetics, Ingrassia posted a photo (archived here) of a shirtless Putin on 4/11/2023 with the comment: “Cringe: Blank check for Zelensky. Based: Blank check for Putin!”
