Radio host reveals STD scare live on air after eating spicy chicken wings

Australian Nova radio presenter Clint Stanaway has shared his STD scare with his co-stars Jason ‘Jase’ Hawkins and Lauren Phillips in a hilarious confession.

The breakfast radio show has become known for the hilarious anecdotes shared live on air and Clint’s recent confession was one that sent fans into hysterics.

Clint, 41, who rejoined the Jase and Lauren Show in March 2024, revealed to his co-presenters that he had an STD scare after a show and considered calling a doctor.

‘I’ve never had an STI before in my life,’ the Aussie broadcaster said, beginning the on-air confession.

‘I was experiencing some burning type pain yesterday,’ he told his co-hosts, ‘in the front region.

‘I just didn’t know what I was experiencing so I went into panic mode. And I thought “what is going on? I’m going to have to go to the GP”.’

When his co-hosts were confused by his ailment and asked if he had to get prescribed a cream, Clint explained further.

‘No ointment required because I quickly figured out what had happened.’

It was revealed that on the show the day before, the group all ate spicy hot wings, and Clint was warned to wash his hands before using the bathroom.

Lauren realised and said: ‘Oh my god, you ate the hot wings and then you didn’t wash your hands and you touched your s*****g?’

‘I got buffalo s*****g,’ Clint confirmed.

He joked that he didn’t blister so it can’t have been an STI – as ‘you’d need the S for the TI to come in.’
