With the conclusion of the 2024 NFL season, experts and analysts have already begun thinking about 2025.
Why stop at just predicting free agency next month? Let’s head straight to next year’s Super Bowl.
13 ESPN NFL experts were recently asked to predict Super Bowl LX. Four of them predicted that the Buffalo Bills would play in the game, while three of them picked the Bills to win it.
Both fantasy analyst Eric Moody and NFL analyst Aaron Schatz predicted a Bills-over-Lions Super Bowl LX, while national NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler predicted the Bills to beat the Rams.
Currently, the Bills are in a three-way tie for the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl next year, according to DraftKings. They are even with the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens, all having their odds set at +700. The defending champion Philadelphia Eagles open the gates in front with +650 odds to win.
The Bills have been flirting with a Super Bowl appearance for a handful of years now, so Western New Yorkers would love it if one of Moody, Schatz, or Fowler’s predictions comes to fruition.
Read all three of their predictions below:
Jeremy Fowler, national NFL reporter: Bills over Rams. The Buffalo breakthrough will happen after the team adds key players this offseason. The Rams are not far off — their defense will be elite next season.
Eric Moody, fantasy analyst: Bills over Lions. Many thought these two teams would make the Super Bowl this past season. I don’t think either needs many changes rosterwise to make the leap.
Aaron Schatz, NFL analyst: Bills over Lions. America gets the Super Bowl it wanted the previous season, as Josh Allen finally wins the AFC and Detroit has another strong (and healthier) season despite new coordinators on both sides of the ball.
