According to the former president, January 6th wasn’t a violent insurrection and hours long siege of the capitol resulting in multiple deaths, but in fact, a day of love and fellowship. The rioters/revelers that beat police and tore their way into the capitol building weren’t trying to stop the certification of the vote, they were simply looking for the gift shop. They didn’t want to hang Mike Pence, they wanted to hang with Mike Pence.
Listen, if some folks got a little caught up in the fun and ransacked congressional offices while the staff hid in the closets fearing for their lives, that was Nancy Pelosi’s fault for not putting her foot down. The crowd may have gotten a little rowdy, but there was nothing the president could do about it, he was back in the White House elbow deep in value meal with the TV turned up to eleven, was he supposed to be a party pooper and call out the National Guard? Heck, no! Donald Trump loves to party, just grab a Ouija board and ask Jeff Epstein.
Trump loves to dance and listen to music. He loves it so much he’ll bring a town hall to a dead stop, crank up the tunes and force the audience to uncomfortably watch him sway off beat for nearly forty minutes. You can’t find vibes like these anywhere but a Trump rally, it’s just like a Jimmy Buffet show but with different hats.
