An FIR has been filed against the contractor and structural consultant under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita's sections, according to a report by NDTV.

FIR Lodged

The Public Works Department raised concerns such as rusted bolts and nuts used in constructing the statue. Also, they complained about the construction quality.

Before the unfortunate incident of the statue collapsing occurred, many even alerted and pointed out that the statue's condition was worsening. Sadly, no steps were taken by the concerned authorities.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated that strong windows blowing at a speed of 45 kilometre per hour led to the collapse.
