Day 1 - Rasmalai Modak

We’re starting this series with a quick Rasmalai Modak recipe by digital content creator Nupur (@my_kitchenn_diaries). You can easily replicate it at home and serve it as prasad to everyone! 

Ingredients

1 cup paneer 1/2 cup milk powder Sugar powder Pistachios Almonds Saffron strands Cardamom powder Dried rose petals

Rasmalai Modak Recipe 

1. Take fresh paneer and grind it till you get a smooth paste. 2. Place the paneer in a pan and add 1/2 cup of milk powder and 3 tbsp of powdered sugar to it and mix it well.

Cook The Mixture

3. Put the pan on the stove and let  the mixture cook for 5-7 minutes  on low flame. 

Let It Cool Down

4. Take the mixture off the heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.

Follow These Steps 

5. Now, add some chopped pistachios, almonds, cardamom powder, and dried rose petals to it and mix it together. 

Time To Mould It

6. Take a modak mould and grease it. 7. Place a little bit of the rasmalai modak mixture in the mould and press it to give it a modak shape. 8. Repeat for the rest of the mixture. 

Serve As Prasad To Ganpati 

And that’s it! Your Rasmalai Modak are ready to be served to Lord Ganesh on day one of Ganeshotsav!
