If you do not like the taste or texture of pumpkins, it's time to try Chef Aruna Vijay's special recipe for Kaddu Pasta.

• 1.5 tsp olive oil • 1.5 tsp chopped garlic • 1 chopped onion (medium-sized) • 1.5 cups pumpkin cubes • 8-10 cherry tomatoes • 1.5 tsp black pepper powder • Salt • 1/3 cup water • 3/4 cup pasta • 1 tsp oregano • 1 tsp chilli flakes • Basil leaves

• Add olive oil to a pan and saute garlic and onion on medium heat. Cook them till the onions turn translucent.

• Next, add pumpkin, cherry tomatoes, black pepper powder, salt, and water. Cover using a lid till pumpkin cubes turn soft.

• After all the ingredients are cooked well, transfer everything to a blender to blend them into a thick consistency puree.

• Meanwhile, boil pasta.

• Lastly, add pumpkin puree, boiled pasta, oregano, and chilli flakes to a pan. Stir everything gently and coat the pasta well.

Pour Kaddu Pasta on a plate and garnish the deliciousness with basil leaves, chilli flakes, and oregano.
