-500g chicken (curry cut) 3-4 medium sized onions ( chopped) 1/ inch of ginger 3 green chillies 4-5 garlic cloves 8-10 cashews 1 bay leaf 1 cinnamon 2 cardamom 1 tbsp of Kashmiri chilli powder 1 tsp of turmeric powder 1 tsp of garam masala 1/4 of cup cream Ghee

First, chop the onions and saute it in ghee till it caramelises. It will take 20-25 minutes.

Then, blend the browned onions to make a paste. Make a separate paste with cashews, green chillies and garlic.

Saute the onion and cahsew paste in ghee and add the spice powders to it.

Add the chicken pieces to the masala with water and let meat cook.

Top the curry with cream, mix well and serve it with rice. Enjoy the Mughlai Chicken!
