Prepare rabdi freshly at home and offer the sweet treat to Lord Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami. Here's a recipe to make it at home.

• Milk • Sugar • Cardamom powder • Saffron • Corn flour • Almond • Cashew nuts • Pistachios

• Pour milk into a kadhai or a milk pan and add sugar to it. Boil for a few minutes and add cardamom powder and a few strands of saffron.

• Let everything boil till the milk quantity reduces to half. Meanwhile, use a flat spatula to scrape the milk layers and stick them to the pan.

• Prepare a mixture of corn flour and 3 tbsp milk. Once the milk has been reduced to half, pour corn flour and milk mixture into boiled milk.

• Next, crush almonds, cashew nuts, and pistachios and add these to the pan. Cook for a couple of minutes and transfer it to the garnish bowl.

• Scrape off the creamy milk layers from the kadhai and add to the milk bowl. Garnish with chopped almonds, cashew nuts, and pistachios.
