Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve is set to reopen for tourists on 1 October 2024, subject to favourable weather conditions.

The reopening announcement was made by the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Eastern Assam Wildlife Division, on 7 September.

Initially, only Jeep Safaris will be available in three ranges: Kaziranga Range (Kohora), Western Range (Bagori), and Burapahar Range (Ghorakati).
