Digital creator Aathira Sethumadhavan took to Instagram to share a Malai Soya Chaap Balls recipe that has 427 Kcal & 29 g of protein per serving! So, don’t think twice before trying this one out!
For the soya chaap balls 1 cup soaked soya chunks 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp onion 1 tsp chopped chilli 1 tsp ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves For the marinade 4 tbsp Greek yoghurt/thick curd 2 tbsp cream 2 tbsp grated cheese 1 tsp ginger garlic paste 2 tsp chopped green chilli 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1/2 tsp white pepper powder 1/2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp sugar Salt Ghee

1. Blend the cooked & drained soya chunks till you get a fine purée. 2. Place the purée in a kadhai and add 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped chilli, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, and some ghee.
3. Knead them all together to form a runny dough. 4. Form small balls of this dough & add to salted boiling water.
5. Let them simmer on a medium flame for 8-10 mins.
6. For the marinade, in a bowl take some Greek yoghurt, cream, grated cheese, ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilli, chopped coriander leaves, white pepper powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and sugar. 7. Mix well and then add in the cooked soya balls. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
8. Now, add some ghee to a pan and transfer the marinated soya ball to it. 9. Cover and cook on a low flame, stirring occasionally until the marinade cooks and becomes thick.
Finally, sprinkle some chaat masala, chopped coriander leaves & cheese to garnish and enjoy your healthy Malai Soya Chaap Balls!
