-2 tsp of Oil -1/2 tsp of Mustard seeds -5 to 6 curry leaves -1/2 small onion -7 to 8 shallots / Sambhar pyaaz -1 small tomato -Sambar masala or Sambhar Paste (As per your taste) -1 cup veggies (Beans, pumpkin, drumsticks & carrots) -1/2 cup of Toor Dal -Little tamarind paste -Little jaggery -Little Idli Batter -Grated coconut -Fresh coriander

Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped onions, sambar onions, salt and chopped tomatoes into a pan with oil and roast it on medium flame.

Then, add the sambar paste (or sambar powder) with chopped veggies and water to the mixture and cover it.

Once the veggies soften, add pressured cooked lentils, tamarind and jaggery to the simmering sambar mixture.

Now, directly add idli batter to the boiling sambar in blobs. Cover it with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes,

Top the steamed idlis with a tadka of curry leaves, oil and mustard seeds. Add some grated coconut and coriander leaves on it. Your Idli Sambar Shakshuka is ready!
