Sugar-Free On Ganesh Chaturthi?

If you're going sugar-free due to health reasons, then don't fret! We have a Sugar-Free Kheer Modak recipe for you.

Ingredients 

1/3 cup of rice 1/2 litre of milk 1/2 cup of powdered rock sugar (mishri) 7-8 almonds 7-8 cashews 2 tbsp of peanuts 2 tbsp of desiccated coconut 2 tbsp of jaggery 1 cardamom Saffron water Pistachios

Step 1 

First, make kheer by boiling milk and add rice( soaked for an hour).

Once the rice is cooked in the milk, add powdered sugar and mix well.

Step 2 

For the stuffing, add the dry fruits, jaggery and desiccated coconut in a blender and make a coarse powder.

Step 3

Then, add the dry kheer to a modak mould and stuff it with the dry fruit filling. You can even shape the modak by hand.

Finally, top the sugar-free modak with saffron syrup. Your Sugar-Free Kheer Modaks are ready!
