The flagship product management conclave at XLRI Jamshedpur, Aurora 3.0, has been completed by concentrating on a variety of important subjects, such as AI, ethics, and resilience. The event was hosted by the PGDM (General Management) 2025- 26 batch, and it was under the theme of Designing What’s Next: Product Leadership in a Changing World. The conclave presented the opportunity to discuss the major trends and issues that are defining the world of product leadership. 

Encouragement to concentrate on developing skills

The concave was inaugurated with a customary Lamp Lighting Ceremony, a traditional ceremony to introduce an auspicious event. The academic leaders of XLRI, such as Dr. Sanjay K. Patro, Dr. P. C. Padhan, Dr. Sunil Kumar Sarangi, and Dr. Giridhar Ramachandran, were present in the ceremony, along with various industry stalwarts.

In his speech, Dr. Patro highlighted the key role of product management in the contemporary firm. He emphasized that product management needs a set of strategic agility and the capacity to make quick and upright decisions in a dynamic setting. Expanding on this, Dr. Ramachandran provided the students with useful guidance, urging them to focus on honing their problem-framing, decision-making, and trade-off management skills, which are inseparable in the context of stakeholder relationships.

Discussion on various panels

Aurora 3.0 was built on four deep panel discussions that discussed one particular facet of modern product leadership. The first panel, which was dubbed The Agentic Future: Product Evolution in the Age of AI, featured speakers representing industry giants including Google, Publicis Sapient, and Razorpay. Their talk was on the hot topics of responsible AI adoption, the purposes of AI in the personalization process, and its use in fraud detection.

The second panel was called Leading Products When the Ground Shifts: Strategies to be resilient and relevant and featured Pine Labs, Tata Digital, and SAP as speakers. They discussed useful ideas on the ways product leaders can keep pace and stay afloat in the volatile and uncertain market.

The third panel, Product with Purpose: Ethical and Sustainable Technology for a Responsible Future, featured speakers from GreenTech Solutions, FutureTech, and Infosys. This panel was dedicated to the critical role of ethical innovation and the necessity to make technology more sustainable to create a more responsible future.

The last panel, From Doing to Leading to Redefining: Career Pivots and Failures that Future-Proof Product Leaders was a distinct experience. Zomato, Amadeus, and OpenText speakers provided personal experiences of professional resilience and learning how to succeed through their personal failures.

Conclusion

The final event of the conclave was a formal Vote of Thanks by the Prodzion Committee, which thanked all the speakers and participants who participated. Aurora 3.0 has provided students and professionals with a powerful platform to receive the invaluable knowledge presented by the industry giants. The broad conversations during the event on matters related to AI and ethics, to resilience and career shifts, helped the attendees gain a better insight into the skills they needed to be an effective leader in the constantly changing product environment.
