We’re already coming up on the end of 2025, so we’re excitedly in the middle of spooky season. The best way to celebrate this time of year–my favorite time of the year, I’ll add–is by playing a bunch of the best horror games. We make it a point to update this list of the best scary games to play regularly, cycling out some older favorites for newer arrivals and under-the-radar gems that deserve attention. This latest update is no different. We’ve added a few more recent horror games to help you decide what to play as the nights get longer and, for many of us, chillier.
Below you’ll find more than two dozen of the best horror games to play right now. This list isn’t ranked, so you don’t need to consider them in that way. Instead, I’d say find a couple that suit your taste and go from there.
