GREENFIELD, Wis. (WKOW) — Actor Hugh Jackman made an unannounced visit to a Kopp’s Frozen Custard near Milwaukee on Tuesday.
Wearing an apron and nametag, Jackman served a special flavor created to promote “Song Sung Blue,” his upcoming movie about a Milwaukee Neil Diamond tribute band.
The featured custard, “Song Sung Blueberry,” includes blueberry and cream cheese custard with a blueberry ribbon, pastry pieces and streusel crumble.
According to our Milwaukee affiliate, the film will premiere Tuesday at Milwaukee’s Oriental Theatre. It tells the real-life love story of Mike and Claire Sardina, known onstage as “Lightning & Thunder.” Jackman plays Mike, and Kate Hudson plays Claire.
“Song Sung Blue” opens in theaters nationwide on Christmas Day.
