Slayd is a fashion discovery platform in Gurugram. Slayd has raised ₹1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by ajvc. ajvc is an early-stage fund captained by Aviral Bhatnagar. The fresh infusion of capital also represents a high valuation for the emerging fashion tech startup, currently valued at around ₹16.66 crore post-money. The funding will help strengthen the company’s strategic growth initiatives and consolidate its presence in the fast-changing digital fashion sector of India.
Growth metrics and product aggregation capabilities
Slayd, founded in 2025 by IIT Roorkee alumni Sparsh Jain, Harsh Porwal, and Kumar Prasang, aims to solve the critical challenges that consumers in the currently disjointed web-based apparel marketing environment experience.
The platform serves as a one-stop fashion aggregator, bringing together fashion products from over 300 marketplaces and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands into one discovery portal. The platform enables a unified and smooth shopping experience for users by simplifying the product discovery process that spans a variety of retail channels.
Slayd adds approximately 1 lakh new products to the catalog each month to keep it dynamic. The company uses its proprietary methodology to assess products on over 8 signals to discover trends in real time.
By utilizing the data framework, the startup presents collections of products by themes and personalized feeds that help customers find products across various fashion websites in one place. More than 2,000 products on the platform are classified as emerging hot sellers.
In addition, the platform has exceeded 200,000 users and has been able to retain over 40% in its first month. The most engaged users interact with the platform on average more than 10 times a month.
The co-founder of Slayd, Sparsh Jain, said, “India sees more than 1 lakh new apparel designs launched every month across hundreds of fragmented e-commerce platforms. Yet shoppers still have to navigate multiple platforms to discover what’s actually trending. Slayd is building the discovery layer for this fragmented market.”

Capital utilization and expansion
In addition to third-party retail products, the startup has expanded into private-label through its brand, Slayd Originals, which debuted in beta earlier this year. The internal product and trend data are used to identify specific consumer needs and promising styles for development under the Slayd Originals label.
The private-label brand has already won consumer interest and currently accounts for approximately 1,000 monthly orders, according to the startup. After the successful completion of this pre-seed round, led by ajvc, Slayd provides a clear list of priorities for its use of newly acquired capital.
The capital will be allocated to expanding its operational team and adding to the size of its private label business, Slayd Originals. The startup plans to support its discovery platform and proprietary brands through investments in talent acquisition and building product lines around real-time trend analytics.
The co-founder of Slayd, Harsh Porwal, said, “Our advantage is that we can identify what shoppers want before building it ourselves. By controlling the design and supply chain, we can bring high-demand styles to customers at better prices, with better quality and a more consistent shopping experience.”

Conclusion
This pre-seed round of financing, led by ajvc, marks an important validation of Slayd’s business model and trajectory of growth. The startup’s private label collection, backed by its own fashion insights data, acts as a safety net to the critical inefficiencies of India’s fractured online fashion market, while a comprehensive fashion discovery platform enables this additional offering.
The company has sufficient funds to strengthen its workforce, improve its trend identification capabilities, and push its business further in the Indian e-commerce market with fresh capital of ₹1.5 crore, a post-money valuation of the business of around ₹16.66 crore, with more than 200,000 users and a continually expanding private label of Slayd Originals.
