Bruce Willis’ older daughters are paying tribute to the actor in honor of his 70th birthday on March 19.
In an emotional Instagram post, Scout Willis, 33, credited her dad, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia following a previous diagnosis of aphasia, with inspiring her “insatiable” love of life.
“I cried a lot this morning, because I’m a baddie and grief is non linear and I am so full of love. Grief it’s the price I pay to get to feel this depth of love and I would never give my grief away,” she wrote.
The musician said she was currently in Nashville recording an album and was “so deeply aware that the music I make is a direct result of the musical education my dad made sure I got.”
She went on to say it was her dad’s “absolute joy to share what he loved with me,” and she had inherited his passion for life.
“Every time I smirk and audaciously ask for more and every time I feel so f—— insatiable that I want to devour the entire world because I am so GODDAMN in love with life, I am my father’s child,” she wrote. “I’m so full of feeling today and just extending this massive Love to anyone feeling deeply today.”
Scout Willis also included a funny video of the “Die Hard” franchise star, shot in 2014, that showed him objecting to being filmed.
“I’m not your little dancing monkey,” the actor joked after covering the camera with his hand.
Bruce Willis shares Scout and two more daughters, Rumer Willis, 36, and Tallulah Willis, 31, with ex-wife Demi Moore.
Scout Willis also posted a birthday tribute calling her dad “the Greatest of all time.”
“Every day I thank the Gods that 50% of my DNA is from him. The music I make, the magic I create, and the magnetic mischief I incite, that’s my father’s legacy alive in the world,” she wrote.
The former “Moonlighting” actor married model Emma Heming Willis in 2009. They share two daughters, Mabel, who turns 13 next month, and Evelyn, who turns 11 in May.
The entire Willis clan, including Moore, frequently appears together in family photos on Instagram.
Rumer Willis honored her father’s birthday by sharing a throwback video of him and Moore dancing when the friendly exes quarantined together with their daughters during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“To the King…I love you Daddio. Happy 70th Birthday papa,” she captioned the video.

Tallulah Willis shared multiple tributes to her dad on his birthday. She acknowledged the many characters Bruce Willis has played onscreen in the caption of a photo of the pair taken in recent years.
“but really — this is my Dad. throughout my childhood I was so frequently asked what it was like to have capital B Bruce Willis as a dad, that somehow these people thought that when they saw him jump off buildings via a 20ft screen he remained EXTRA LARGE.
“he’s a person, a man, a son, a kid from Jersey who hit the mother f—– jackpot of life by the stroke of luck he couldn’t even explain,” she wrote. “and I love this Jersey boy, who combed my hair in baths, and always made sure I layed a towel down before eating on his bed, and is known far and wide as the Corn Cake King to our safe circle of intimates.”
Tallulah Willis also filled her Instagram story with throwback shots of her father and posted a separate photo of him on the set of a “Die Hard” movie.
“happy 70th to my favorite friend! you are a light that can never be dimmed! I love you so proud to be your baby Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis,” she wrote, adding fish emoji.
“So beautiful Tallulah,” Heming Willis commented on her step-daughter’s post.
Heming Willis shared her own sweet tribute to the actor, asking fans to “flood him” with loving thoughts.
“It’s Bruce’s birthday, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that there’s no greater fan than a Bruce fan. So flood him with all the love today—he will feel it, I swear he will,” Heming Willis captioned a throwback pic of the actor holding two thumbs while standing on an ATV.
“You are one powerful bunch. I love how you rally for him, and I’m so grateful that he has you,” she added.
