The current record of 5,190 kazoo players was set in London in 2011.
The Macon attempt, scheduled for March 28, will be led by “kazoo expert” Rick Hubbard.
All proceeds from $5 admission charges will be donated to the Otis Redding Foundation & Otis Redding Center for the Arts.
