iD Fresh Food is a Bengaluru-based ready-to-cook brand. In the 2026 fiscal year, iD Fresh Food has seen turnover grow to nearly ₹900 crore. The consolidated financial statements reviewed through regulatory filings showed that the company’s operating revenue grew by 27.7% to ₹870 crore in FY26, from ₹681 crore in FY25, reflecting strong and consistent demand in the market.
Product portfolio and operational cost components
iD Fresh Food has made a strong name in the market by producing and selling a variety of ready-to-cook food products, including idli batter, dosa batter, and parathas.
The company, apart from the output of its manufacturing segment, conducts trading in other food items such as curd, paneer, coffee, specialty batters, and packaged foods as well.
The company has dedicated manufacturing plants in big cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Haryana, and Ajman, UAE, to support its extensive distribution channels.
Manufactured products accounted for about ₹671 crore, which is 75% of the company’s operating income, while its sold product business of dairy products, chappati, beverages and frozen products took up the rest of the operating income. Other income of the firm has risen to ₹8 crore in FY26, primarily from interest on current investments, and total income stands at ₹879 crore.
Similarly, the total expenses increased by 20.5% to ₹801 crore in FY26 from ₹665 crore in FY25 as the business grew. When considering the company’s total expense structure, procurement of raw material was the highest component, accounting for 49% of the expenses, which rose 18.3% to ₹394 crore within the financial year.
The employee benefit expenses increased by 16% to reach ₹168 crore. As the business began to grow its presence in the market and its production capacity, additional operating expenses, including advertising spending, legal costs, rent, freight, transportation, and overheads, also drove up the cost base.
Profitability surge and future growth challenges
Strong milestone revenue growth offset rising operating costs to deliver a spectacular earnings boost for iD Fresh Food. Profit before tax and exceptional items also showed a three-fold increase to ₹79 crore from ₹24 crore in FY25, except for gains from sale of exemplars that stood at ₹713 crore for FY26.
The company had an EBITDA of ₹111 crore for the overall fiscal year, ROCE of 17.4%, and an EBITDA margin of 13% for the fiscal year. The current assets existing at the end of the period were valued at ₹250 crore.
iD Fresh Food is a market leader in the commercial ready-to-cook foods segment in India and has a changing competitive landscape as the successful category opens doorways for many new players. Such a strong competitive edge continues to exert stress on prices, margins, and distribution channels.
If the firm is to maintain its growth trajectory, it will be necessary to optimize supply chain efficiencies, improve distribution systems, and deepen brand loyalty and engagement in order to ensure that customers will select the company’s portfolio over the increasing number of alternatives in the marketplace.
Conclusion
The financial results for FY26 reflect iD Fresh Food’s robust position in India’s growing RTC food market, with its operating revenue nearing the ₹900 crore mark and pre-exceptional profit climbing threefold to ₹79 crore. With a strong manufacturing footprint across domestic and international facilities, a diversified product portfolio that offers batters, parathas, dairy products, and solid operating leverage, the company has exhibited resilience despite the increase in input costs and advertising expenses. In a crowded convenience food segment, the efficient action of driving supply chain efficiencies while maintaining consumer trust will be key to long-term success at iD Fresh Food.
