Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has taken aim at President Donald Trump by calling the 79-year-old’s bluff after he made unsubstantiated claims about his intelligence
Jimmy Kimmel has urged Donald Trump to take part in a mortifying challenge.
During his October 29 show, the famed talk show host took aim at the president by calling his bluff on the 79-year-old’s IQ test claims.
Trump has bragged incessantly about scoring highly on a cognitive test that he took at Walter Reed Medical Center, and on Monday, he alleged that “low IQ” Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett wouldn’t be able to pass it. However, Jimmy Kimmel has called him out for this, with the 57-year-old urging POTUS to take part in a televised IQ test.

During his ABC show, Jimmy showed a clip of Trump saying, “You give [Ocasio-Cortez] an IQ test. Have her pass the exams that I decided to take. Let AOC go against Trump. Let Jasmine go against Trump,” with the host replying, “I agree. It sounds like a challenge.”
Reiterating something he’d said in his October 28 monologue, Jimmy told viewers, “Not only do I want to see this contest happen, I want to make it happen… I want to give our brilliant, big-brained president a chance to teach those left-wing lightweights a thing or two about brain power live on national television.”
In Jimmy’s eyes, the contest would be between Trump and two Democrats, who would take the tests on live television, with the host calling it, “The James C. Kimmel Cognitive Aptitude and Mental Brilliance Invitational.”
The much-loved presenter then said, “Now, all we need are the contestants,” before introducing Jasmine Crockett via a video feed.
“Thank you for joining us,” Jimmy told the Texas Democrat. “I assume you are aware of the fact that the president, for whatever reason, has challenged you?”
Replying, the 44-year-old politician answered, “I am very well aware. I know that he can’t seem to find himself in the Oval Office to make sure that he can end this shutdown, but he does have time to troll me. So, listen: If he’s down, I’m down.”
Jimmy then further asked her, “Do you notice any kind of a pattern when it comes to people he frequently refers to as ‘low IQ’ people?” as Jasmine responded, “They tend to be women, and they tend to be women of color.”
Fans of Jimmy Kimmel Live! took to Reddit to speak about the proposal, with one saying, “I would pay money to watch Jasmine and AOC destroy him and make him cry on national television!”
A second Redditor also added, “I would pay big money for this. Especially if the money went to a charity of Jimmy’s choice,” as a third commented, “They should have done this before he was elected, would have been much more useful then.”
