For those who practice, this has been an absolutely INCREDIBLE year for horror movies.
You like Sci-fi horror? You can have Alien: Romulus, The Substance, and Cuckoo. You like religious horror? Try First Omen, Azrael, and Late Night with the Devil. More of a thriller-horror type? There’s Trap and Longlegs. Monsters? Abigail and V/H/S/ Beyond. Traditional or Slasher? MaXXXINE, Oddity, In a Violent Nature. And I can go on.
But there’s still a lot of great horror movies to come, including the sequel to Smile.
The first Smile movie came out two years ago, alongside a particularly creative guerrilla marketing campaign that sent actors to high-profile baseball games in character. Basically, these actors pretended to be possessed and sat extremely still — smiling — straight at the camera the entire game. If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll understand the implication.
The Smile 2 team attempted the same campaign this time around, including at last night’s NLCS Game 2.
Except … this time, a foul ball forced one of the actors to break character. And it’s pretty dang funny.

Kudos to the woman on the right for sticking with it … as for the “demon” on the left. LOL. I don’t think I’m quite as scared of someone that scared of a foul ball.
