Mandy Moore has slammed Amazon as she claims that the company delivered a parcel to the burned-down remains of her in-law’s home.
Mandy, 40, was one of the many California residents to be evacuated from her home because of the LA wildfires in January.
Although her home wasn’t one of the many celebrity houses to be burned to the ground, her Altadena property was damaged by the fires.
She also revealed that some of her in-laws, including her brother-in-law Griffin Goldsmith, had lost their homes in the blaze.
On Tuesday night Mandy took to social media to defend her in-laws and slam Amazon as she claimed the company had delivered a parcel to a completely destroyed property.
On the image of the parcel outside of the wreckage, the Tangled actress wrote: ‘Do better, Amazon.
‘Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists?
‘This is my mother and father-in-law’s home. Smh.’

In a statement to People, Amazon spokesperson Steve Kelly said: ‘We’ve reached out to Ms. Moore via Instagram to apologize for this and to ask for more information from her in-laws so we’re better able to investigate what happened here.’
The statement continued: ‘For weeks, we’ve advised those who are delivering on our behalf in southern California to use discretion in areas that were impacted by wildfires – especially if it involves delivering to a damaged home – that clearly didn’t happen here.’
![MANDY MOORE mandymooremm ? Altadena 197,750 likes We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss. Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It?s not livable but mostly intact. We lost Taylor and griffin?s studio with every instrument and piece of equipment they?ve ever owned. We lost our garage and back house. Everyone we know lost everything. Every house on our street is gone. My in laws. My brother and sister in law- 6 weeks from welcoming their first baby. Our best friends. Feeling weird survivors guilt. We love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support. Thanks for everyone for checking on us and offering us help. The This Is Us actress has received backlash for asking for fan donations to help her in-laws.
Moore shared a GoFundMe page for her brother and sister-in-law whose home was destroyed by the flames and wrote: ‘My brother-in-law and sister-in-law Griff & Kit lost their home and everything they own in the Eaton Fire.’
She added later to the post: ‘And people questioning whether we’re helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic.
‘Of course we are. Our buddy Matt started this GoFundMe and I’m sharing because people have asked how they can help them.
‘We just lost most of our life in a fire too. Kindly F OFF. No one is forcing you to do anything.’

In a lengthy Instagram post Mandy shared on Tuesday, the star opened up about how the wildfires have affected her and reached out for support.
‘A month removed, I find myself drifting back to Altadena, driving up and down the streets while Lou naps in the car, still not able to fully comprehend all of it or what it means, or on my less optimistic days, how any of us move forward.
‘I’m reaching out and asking for help and guidance on how to process this trauma because my brain and heart are so deeply broken.’
