As much turmoil as Mavericks fans have experienced over the last month or so, at least we’re not getting ripped off at the concession stand.
A study conducted by FlashPicks found the Mavs have the sixth-cheapest hot dog in the NBA, at just $5.63 per hot dog.
That’s less expensive than fellow Texas NBA franchises the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs who offer hot dogs at $6.90 and $11.99, respectively.
In fact, the Spurs offer the MOST expensive hot dog in the league! If a Spurs fan were to purchase a hot dog at every home game at Frost Bank Arena, over a season they would pay $491.59.
The cheapest hot dog in the league belongs to the Phoenix Suns, whom offer their glizzys for just $2.
Callum Broxton, Head of Operations at FlashPicks said of the study, “With the NBA season into its final stages, fans will be well accustomed to their game day routines, which for many involves buying a hot dog to enjoy at the game.
“Our study goes to show the disparity in prices of NBA arenas, and how over the course of the season some NBA fans like the San Antonio Spurs will pay a lot more money on food than rivals like the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets.”
