My name is Matt Bumstead. I am currently enrolled as an MBA Student at Cornell University and also received my BA in Economics from Cornell University. I have worked in finance for a number of years and enjoy performing financial analyses to deepen my understanding of companies. In addition, I enjoy the process of researching and performing deep dives on companies and learning how they operate and make money and this is something I do in my free time. I also enjoy writing and talking about potential investments and writing for Seeking Alpha allows me to share my ideas in a more formal way and with a broader audience as well as receive feedback and continued discussion on potential investments. I have worked in the tech sector before and as such enjoy researching and writing about potential investments in the tech sector, although I also identify opportunities in the consumer goods, industrials, and healthcare sectors. My investment strategy is focused on understanding the business and leadership and how they have performed historically and what they anticipate moving forward. I seek to find undervalued stocks that I believe the market has mispriced and try to understand why there is this discrepancy.
