Joe Rogan has a breaking point with Trump, and it’s over a rivalry with America’s neighbor to the north: Canada.
The relationship hasn’t been very neighborly recently, with President Donald Trump calling for Canada to become the 51st state and newly sworn in Prime Minister calling the idea “crazy.”
“We will never, ever, in any way shape or form, be part of the United States. America is not Canada,” Carney said. “We are very fundamentally a different country.”
Rogan endorsed Trump on the eve of the November election over Twitter during an interview with Elon Musk.
But in a recent episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, featuring comedian Michael Kosta, Rogan appeared to have soured to at least some of Trump’s policies.
“Why are we upset at Canada? This is stupid. They booed us over tariffs,” Rogan said, as reported by Sky News, referring to impending 25% tariffs being imposed on both Mexico and Canada.
Rogan said that the United States has got to become friends with Canada again.
“This is so ridiculous. I can’t believe that there’s like anti-American and anti-Canadian sentiment going on. It’s the dumbest f***ing feud,” he said.
“I just want America and Canada to get along. I think it’s ridiculous… and I don’t really think they should be our 51st state.”
