With Cade Cunningham out of the lineup, Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren led the way as Detroit won its 10th straight game. Duren scored 31 points in the Pistons’ 127-112 win over the Indiana Pacers.
Duren, 21, did far more than just score in the game. He actually made history as well.
Duren’s 31 points came in an almost perfect performance from an efficiency persecutive, connecting on 12-of-13 shots for a 92.3% clip from the field. Adding 15 rebounds and three assists, Duren truly did it all.
Duren made NBA history
The Memphis product who the Charlotte Hornets drafted in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft became the youngest player to ever record at least 30 points, 15 rebounds while shooting 90% from the field.
Duren even put up 31 points without taking a single three-point shot.
