The hype surrounding North Carolina’s college football program was massive this offseason after it was revealed that Bill Belichick would be taking over the ACC school’s team, but after the first month-and-a-half of play on the field it’s been anything but pleasant to watch the Tar Heels compete on gamedays.

As North Carolina now heads on the road to face a long West Coast trip to face the California Golden Bears it seems that Belichick’s recent struggles have not only disrupted the school’s fanbase but it’s also put a damper in their plans to put together the Hulu college football documentary that they had planned.
Lots has been made throughout 2025 about Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, as well as her involvement in creating social media buzz around the North Carolina football team, however, with all of the school’s recent struggles on the gridiron it’s certainly placed a dark cloud over the Tar Heels.
While the on-field struggles have been very real for Belichick, his public appearances alongside Hudson have been all the talk amongst the college football community, including their magazine cover shoot together with Us Weekly.
