Saturday morning, four people were injured following Russian strikes on the city of Kharkiv and the nearby village of Slatyne, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on Telegram.
“At around 06:50, the Russian armed forces launched airstrikes on the village of Slatyne in the Kharkiv region. Two guided aerial bombs hit a residential area, damaging at least seven private homes,” the statement reads.

Rescuers pulled a 68-year-old man from the rubble of a house. He suffered injuries and is currently in stable condition. Two other men sustained shrapnel wounds, the Prosecutor’s Office stated.
Earlier, at about 4:10 a.m., Russian attack drones targeted a facility in Kharkiv’s Nemyshlianskyi district. A 57-year-old security guard was injured in the attack.
Saturday morning’s attacks were the latest in a wave of Russian drone strikes and shelling that damaged homes, vehicles, and infrastructure across Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region Friday and Saturday.

In the city of Kharkiv, 4:12 a.m. Friday, one Shahed drone struck the ground while two others targeted a civilian enterprise, injuring one person, Syniehubov reported.
In the city of Kupiansk, a one-story non-residential building caught fire at 3:52 p.m. after a Russian attack with three glide bombs. The blasts also destroyed three garages and damaged 10 more. A fire also broke out in nearby grassland.
Further west, in the village of Ivashky, in the rural settlement of Zolochiv, two cars were damaged by an attack from a first-person-view (FPV) drone at 4:24 p.m.
Saturday, at 4:23 a.m., in the village of Khotimlia, in the Starosaltiv community, a drone-dropped explosive ignited a blaze in a two-story private residence, Syniehubov said.
In Borova, at 7:48 a.m., shelling, believed to have come from a multiple launch rocket system – set fire to the undergrowth of a pine forest.
Russian aircraft, at 8:57 a.m. also launched six glide bombs on the outskirts of Kalynove, Karasivka, and Sosnovka, all located within the Zolochiv community, he said.
